It’s Christmas time, a time for Family!

Winter and Christmas are certainly on us. Santa Claus Parades, relatives coming for long overdue visits and the feeling of excitement building amongst our children seems to be as much of a soundtrack to our lives as Feliz Navidad. We gather to each other like puppies for warmth and it all is a special time particularly with our families.

Patio Andaluz is home to our family. My husband (Antonio who not only custom built and designed much of the Patio Andaluz Experience but also provides his much-appreciated detail), Sisters, Son in Law, Daughter and others help make our restaurant the very definition of family. I think you can tell as there is a lot of love present when we are open.

We work with some trusted people that help us tell our story. Michael, who has a bit of the Dennis the Menace in him had my family on camera taking pictures and talking about working for me. He tried really hard (in a joking and loving manner) to get my family to speak on camera about what I am like as a boss. He still shakes his head because it was a love festival, we could have a parade and I feel the same about them.

They have put up some pictures and stories about my family that works with me every day at Patio Andaluz, it warms my heart. All of us would love to give you a smile, some labour of our love and a break from cooking while you are out shopping, or in baking Christmas goodies. Know that we consider Canada our Family and those who come into our Patio Andaluz home a source of love and inspiration this Christmas

Antonio’s much appreciated Detail – Despite being written and released in 1970, Jose Feliciano’s amazingly popular Christmas Song Feliz Navidad did not enter any Billboard chart until January 1998 and on December 5, 2020 entered the Top 10 for the first time just over 50 years after it was recorded. Incredible!
